At Little Mead Primary Academy we use the Kapow scheme of work to deliver the music curriculum from EYFS - Year 6

We believe that our pupils deserve a broad and ambitious music curriculum which is both rich in skills and knowledge. We endeavour to foster a life-long love of music within every child by encouraging them to not only listen and respond to a diverse range of music styles and genres but to find their voices and become singers, performers and composers too.

As children progress through school, they will increasingly understand and explore how music is created and communicated through the interrelated dimensions of music: pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, timbre, texture and structure
