School Administrator

Full time equivalent salary: £20,493-£21,747 (BG7; NJC8-11 pro-rata)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week, term time + INSETs + 5 days of holiday working

Working pattern: 08:45-13:45

Place of work: One of the follow schools, to be confirmed at interview:

  1. Henbury Court Primary Academy
  2. Fonthill Primary Academy
  3. Little Mead Primary Academy

About Us

This is an exciting time at Endeavour Academy Trust. Under the leadership of our new CEO, we are in the process of re-organising how our support services are delivered to our primary schools in order to meet our ambitious goal of being the Schools of Choice.

The Successful Applicants:

We are looking to recruit a School Administrator to work under the direction of the Office Manager and Trust HR & Communications Lead to support the daily running of the administrative functions in our schools.

The School Administrator will be responsible for:

• Recording and maintaining of school records and pupil data.

• Providing high level administrative support to the school, including proof reading, letter writing, etc.

• Maintain school communications, for example website and social media.

• Support staff positively with a range of queries.

• Daily oversight of school meals and dinner money.

• Maintain the school registers and follow up with any queries or concerns

• Process penalty notices.

• Work with the safeguarding lead to ensure attendance is accurately monitored.

• Work with families to support the attendance targets.

We are looking to recruit someone who:

• Has a background in customer service, especially in a busy office environment.

• Has excellent IT skills.

• Has highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

• Is able to multi-task and prioritise.

• Is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about. providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.
